This afternoon I got a frantic cry for help, the vrow’s Lenovo keyboard just stopped working. She had already tried changing the batteries, thinking that must be the issue. No dice. She’s very tech savvy, so I know she’s already done all the basic checks on it.

After some essential googling, I came across this post on Reddit by ageingrockstar that actually solved the problem. So ageingrockstar is a rockstar!

So quoting the instructions here, in case it gets lost somewhere in the ether:

 

1. Removed batteries from both keyboard & mouse
2. Took receiver dongle out of usb-slot on computer
3. Reinserted batteries but with the mouse off
4. Reinserted receiver dongle
5. Turned the mouse on
